Merchant Helper and Merchant Helper Pro are the same software. It is designed to help merchants quickly develop a E-commerce enabled web shopping site (Internet Storefront). Depending on your purchase option, the software register number you receive, when applies to the software, changes the order processing scheme.

Merchant Helper Merchant Helper is for merchants who do not have the capability to process credit card on the Internet or simply do not have enough volume to justify real-time credit card processing. A merchant purchases the software, installs the program on his computer, and generates the website on his hard disk. On completion, the merchant uploads the whole web site to his ISP's server. The orders come in either as (1) encrypted e-mail in his mail box or (2) fax/mail orders for those shoppers who do not want to use a credit card on the Internet. Using Merchant Helper, the merchant decrypts the e-mail order and processes the credit card manually.

Merchant Helper Pro Merchant Helper Pro is for merchants who project a high volume of sales that requires the use of real-time credit card processing. A merchant opens an account with an online credit card transaction processing company (like Authorize.Net or Credit Card Network), purchases the software, installs the program on his computer, and generates the website on his hard disk. On completion, the merchant uploads the whole web site to his ISP's server, and checks his orders at the credit card processing company.
